Choose your export
Use an official Instagram export you select. No Instagram login, password, or account connection.
A little more clarity
Your connections,
in context.
Followers and following tell different stories. Kinship helps you make sense of both, using an official Instagram export you choose.
Explore how it works
No account connection needed
Not another guess about what happened. A way to see what your export actually shows.
The idea
Start with what
you know.
Kinship is being built around a simple principle: useful answers should not come at the cost of honest ones.
See the relationships
Explore followers, following, and where the two overlap. Export contents are processed locally in the app.
Keep the context
Partial or missing data stays marked as unknown. An export cannot tell you why a relationship changed or its exact timing.
Made for the grey areas
Unknown is not
the same as no.
When an export is incomplete, Kinship does not treat missing entries as proof someone is absent. Even complete snapshots cannot prove a block, deletion, rename, or the exact date a follow changed.
Coming into focus
A more thoughtful way
to look closer.
Kinship is in development. There is nothing to download yet — just a clearer way to think about the connections behind the numbers.
